To become your most trusted corporate advisor in the Netherlands
To achieve this we invest in our relationships, endeavour to be pro-active and personal in our approach and provide you with expert knowledge and practical solutions.
DTS’s management has extensive experience in the international and national trust, tax and legal profession. In addition DTS has an excellent network of contacts with national and international tax advisors, law firms, public notaries, auditors and banks.
Why should we use a small trust company such as DTS instead of one of the larger trust companies?
With the larger trust companies, you will be treated as a number. You will be one of the 20,000 companies that are registered at the same address. Your so-called personal trust director is also the director of 30-80 other companies at the same time.
DTS strongly believes in a pro active personal approach so being there for you before and on the moment that you need to make a decision. We therefore encourage you to use us for our local expertise and experience and regard us as a member of your team. This way we are in the best position to properly assist you in the most efficient manner. Moreover this approach creates a genuine level of substance in the Netherlands enabling you to fully benefit from your Dutch company.
Developments in international substance requirements
Substance of Dutch companies is under more and more scrutiny of the Dutch tax authorities, Ministry of Finance and media in the Netherlands. The topic “substance requirements” also appears on the political agenda’s all over the world. Recent developments in foreign legislation show that a higher level of substance is required from Dutch holding companies receiving foreign dividends, royalties and interest if they want to benefit from Tax Treaty benefits.
Based on our unique approach, DTS is able to provide you with the required level of substance as we are a trust company with a limited number of clients, which enables all our clients to rely on our availability and our extensive experience.
